Therapy is an investment in yourself and your relationships. Here’s what to expect financially.
Below you’ll find information about fees, insurance, and payment policies so you can make an informed decision about working together.
Self-Pay Fees
Individual Therapy
$150 per 50 minute session
Couples and Adult Relationship/Family Therapy
$175 per 1 hour session (no more than 2 people)
$262.50 per 1.5 session(3+ people or upon request for 2 people)
$350 per 2 hour session (available upon request for all)
Discernment Counseling
Session 1: $350 (2 hours)

Insurance Coverage:
Insurance coverage is available only for individual therapy sessions. Insurance companies require therapy to focus on treatment of a diagnosable mental health condition. Because couples and discernment counseling focus on relationship dynamics rather than medical diagnosis, insurance companies typically do not cover these services.
In-Network Insurance Plans for Individual Therapy: United Healthcare, Aetna.
Important Insurance Limitations:
- I am unable to see clients who have Medicaid, even if choosing self pay.
- I am opted out of Medicare, which means services cannot be billed to Medicare for reimbursement.
- I do not participate in Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs).
Before beginning individual therapy, you may want to contact your insurance company and ask:
-
Do I have coverage for individual psychotherapy (CPT codes 90837 or 90834)?
-
Is Amanda (Mandy) Bowlin, NPI #1407446958, in-network?
-
What is my copay?
-
Do I have a deductible? If yes, how much will sessions cost me?
-
Do I need prior authorization?
-
Are there telehealth coverage differences?
